Tech Spurt Weekly Ep41 | Poco M3 budget phone insanity

This week saw the Poco M3 launch globally, serving up crazy specs for a budget price of 149 Euros or Dollars. My unboxing is imminent, and I’m hoping to review the Poco M3 as well – possibly a successor to the excellent X3 as most insanely good cheapy smartphone of 2020? You get a 6000mAh battery, Snapdragon 662 chipset (same as the Moto G9 Play and Power) and FHD+ display, plus other surprising specs.

Motorola is back at it again too, launching the new Moto E7 budget phone. This £99 handset is even cheaper than that Poco M3, although you’re scaled back to a simple Mediatek Helios chipset, 2GB RAM, and an HD screen.

We then go through the usual viewer comment shenanigans, before finishing with a look forward to tech next week – including the Snapdragon Summit 2020. No Hawaii this year sadly so I’ll have to just get twatted on my sofa instead of a beach. Boo.
